Are you hoarding sweet corn like we are? It’s nice to try new recipes so you’re not stuck with the same ol’ sides. If you’re like me and you are making at least two homemade meals a day you can get a little board with that sweet corn piling up.
What hubby doesn’t love a nice, warm breakfast? We are huge breakfast people. I just HAD to use the sweet corn in a breakfast dish. If were friends you know that I
make quiche a lot constantly. All different types!
Add this to your recipe box!
Sweet Corn Quiche
3 ears of sweets corn ( Boiled and cut)
1 cup chopped ham
1 cup heavy whipping cream ( Yes, thats right)
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp white pepper
handful of shredded fontina or mozzarella cheese
1 pie crust ( fresh or store bought)
Combine all the ingredients except cheese. Pour into pie crust. Sprinkle cheese on top of quiche. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Quiche should jiggle a little. Let stand 5-10 minutes before cutting into.
Top with green onion!
