I did it. A digital detox. Not on purpose, but, because my phone broke. Friday I went to charge my phone and it would not charge. Yikes. Tried all the outlets and different chargers and It just wouldn’t charge. I went 3 days without a cell phone or social media. I decided if I were going to do it then do it all.
It honestly was really refreshing. A breath of new life. I actually came to the conclusion of only checking social media a certain time of the day. I also decided I am not going to use snapchat as much. Sorry! I know I don’t use it a lot in the first place, so this might not be a huge change for you. If you want to see whats going on check in here. Otherwise, I will let you know what is going to be on snap if it is somewhat importantish.
This week we had a fun filled day at the Children’s Museum Launch Pad in Sioux City. My littles love this place. Otto loves the light peg board. He could stay at it the whole time. Cruz, of course, loves the craft area and the jungle gym.
Cruz had a dentist appointment and came out with NO CAVITIES! Yay!
After, we headed to get Cherry Berry. I told Cruz, hers cost a million dollars. She said, it weighed 60 pounds. We both laughed.
Lately Cruz has been saying,
I will do whatever you say Mommy!
This melts my heart but, I know its because she really wants more stars on her rule and chore chart. We started her a new chart last week. So far she is great at,
Making her bed.
Brushing her teeth.
Picking up her toys.
I am so proud of her. I truly delight in watching her grow and I am astonished with how she has been following directions.
Otto is now saying,
Today, I opened up my bag and Otto said,
Ummm. What? I was appalled! I was so excited I picked him up and spun him around! Then he said it again!
Ive been working on Otto with his vocabulary everyday and hearing him say new words brings me so much joy! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Life is good.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
